Two years ago I needed a way to update multiple PCs and laptops in my company without spending more. New Dell laptops were great but expensive and over the years, accumulated many different parts of our C Series C ran from the CPX C600 C610 Latitude C400 and C640 models before their new D line of Latitude laptops were released. The port, railway stations, and many other parts are usable in any of these models, so we decided to take advantage of this and purchase used Delllaptops. eBay is where we come from. Over the years I learned a valuable thing to buy these expensive items. Here are some tips and some recommendations of sellers I've found very reliable.

Know what you buy.

Do not just go by the model and specifications of the machine. I can see two types of devices. Those who complete PCs sold as used today. Also refurbished units, no serial number on the bottom or in the BIOS. Thisunits can be very good prices and so far I have found everyone to be in great condition. The problem is that without the series, you can still get technical support from Dell and obviously there is no guarantee. If you do the best with the seller, is great. For my use in my work is not worth the emergence of a model without serial number. I went on this for now.

Always pay with Pay Pal or any other service you may use a credit card.

AlsoWhen you use a credit card on Paypal you are covered by the case and the cost back protection that your company credit card. I have two cases where the seller did not ship my laptop and the service I went with my credit card companies to fight. In both cases I received a credit back from my company and have no problems with Paypal. Before you open a formal dispute with Paypal, requiring that before a tax return. I'm not sure what the consequences would be, but betterlook as if you try to use their system.

Purchase regularly? Try a relationship with retailers known some form.

After doing business with a handful of sellers I trust I now completely bypass eBay. Sellers love the money you save on expenses and I can not drive often mint condition Latitude laptops. Some might even laptop to your specs.

Check the sellers feedback.

Check the seller regularly sells Dellequipment. This tells you two things. One that is a reliable seller and a story of people who bought the same item and were happy. The second thing is that if you have positive feedback with regard to non-similar equipment you can assume that they have no parts or service capacity will be. If you see many sales of similar Dell you can be sure that if you have a problem immediately and will probably be able to use your laptop to solve.

Ask the guaranteeprovision of care or transfer.

If you are lucky the unit you buy will come with a guarantee of left Dell. But Dell will not give your name if you do not have the original owner's name and address. If a seller is willing to do only the gold! Note that this is not common. You can still get warranty service on Dell equipment, but they have ownership of your name.

I do not know how it works, but there are many sellers of Dell servers that are new or refurbished by Dell. Comes with Dell warranty and transferable. When the server receives in its original Dell box still sealed. The price can not be beat, and I never had a problem. My suspicion is that those with the right contacts, Dell will sell a lot on production and refurbished units far below the price you see on their Dell Outletsite. http://www.scsistuff.com is a big seller for this sale.
