Computer market is getting bigger every day because there are enough choices to make when considering buying a new computer.

PDAs, PCs, notebooks and a wide range of different parts of the state-of-the-art technology could confuse potential buyers as the large amount of offers available can be overwhelming.

As an attempt to make some things clear, this article will be many different functions in the two most common types of computers to highlight:PCs and laptops.

Everyone knows what a desktop computer. But not everyone knows a laptop, and many people mistakenly believe that portable PCs and laptops have the same thing. Yes, the truth is that while the laptop is a form of a laptop, not all laptops have a notebook.

This distinction is made for two reasons: the weight and peripherals. While laptops are lighter, usually about four or five pounds, are not always as hard disk drives includedisks and CD-ROM. Larger (six or seven pounds) include these portable units.

But back to their laptops to desktops, which is the right choice? Well, it should be decided by you, but if you need portability, you should choose a laptop. With normal size of 8.5''x 11''(although some newer models are larger, up to 16''skerms included), this beauty is ready to be packed and carried with you throughout the day, and enter Opportunities work whiletravel, take notes during class, or even comment, while in the library. They offer the convenience of storage space.

But if you want to use the computer only for 3D gaming or the creation of a powerful workstation that will be for most of the time, so your best bet is probably a desktop PC. AND 'cheaper to buy.

The reason for more expensive laptops and desktops are not that many people think that the desktop is better or morereliable (in the fact that most of the errors in the computer are reported to occur on the desktop), but the liver on the laptop needs to use components that must be small to fit in a briefcase is done, and yet be resistant to heat and reduce consumption to a minimum.

Finally, I would say is a laptop and a desktop computer myself, and although the latter was more convenient to buy and increased its rated speed, and a couple of times to seeminglyno reason, while my trusty laptop has never been a problem, and is fast as my PC with a slower speed of the CPU.
